Endoscopy department has a fully equipped area to study adults, pediatrics and neonatals.

  • Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
  • Esophageal dilation and dilation of other zones of the digestive tract with hydropneumatic and Savary-Gilliard dilators.
  • Control of digestive hemorrhage by vein ligation, the use of endoclips and electrocautery
  • Placement of prostheses in esophageal, gastric, intestinal and biliary tract lesions.
  • Esophageal manometry and esophageal pH testing
  • Rectal Manometry Studies
  • Tatooing of lesions of digestive tract
  • Polypectomy
  • Placement of gastrostromy tubes
  • Mucosectomy
  • Placement of intragastric balloon

Tecnology and Equipment

Endoscopy Tower (FUJINON), FICE System, Two 42" and 21" Hd screens to visualize the study, as well as all that is necessary for anesthetic procedures, from sedation to general anesthesia.


OLYMPUS Endosonography equipment, with a radial and linear transducer, has integral technology or therapeutic procedures. Upon obtaining high definition HD images, easy orientation and examination of lesions is made possible, in addition to using the Color Doppler. 



Portable tower for procedures in the operating room and in intensive care units as well as in the ER. There is equipment for adults, children and newborns.



The Endosopy department is located on the first floor of the hospital. Appointments must be made and are available from Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in order to perform studies on out-patients. There is personnel on duty for Emergencies 24 hours a day.
